Kim Steel, Founding Director was born and raised in Scotland and stumbled upon Australian shores in 2006; she most recently established SAPRO Consulting™ in 2020 and its unique team, with a mission to change how the Clinical Research Industry supports small start-up and biotech’s and ultimately change the stereotype we have come to know as a “Clinical Research Organisation (CRO)”; she and her immediate team have formed an unrivalled alliance with experts around the region and overseas to offer management of all aspects of the clinical trial process to become your Clinical Trial Pathway Partner (TPP). Kim’s expertise were developed in the fast-growing Asia Pacific (APAC) region and she truly empathises with the concrete milestones and deliverables that are on the critical path to her client’s success and growth of their business.

A proficient and driven Director and Independent Consultant with over seventeen years experience in a diverse range of roles across the clinical research sector working with many different biotech, pharma and CRO's competently managing global and full service clinical drug and device studies from First in Human through Phase IV across 14 countries.
An enthusiastic and hardworking professional motivated by new challenges, strict deadlines and a fast-paced environment. Often praised for a high level of diligence, flexibility, organisational and analytical skills in delivering high quality projects with consideration for the scope and budget, processes and risk involved.
